Kathu Rental Villas - Kathu is the smallest district in Phuket, the others being Muang and Thalang, and covers a large part of the island’s central west coast from west Phuket Town it encompasses Kamala Beach and Patong. For golfing enthusiasts there are three excellent golf courses in Kathu district: Loch Palm Golf Club, Red Mountain Golf Course and the superb Phuket Country Club. Kathu is perfect for families wishing to live in Phuket, with a number of international schools close by and a wide range of activities for the kids. The Patong Go-Kart Speedway in Kathu is a fun way for whole family to spend an afternoon away from the beach. The 750 metre long race track is professionally managed with safety as its main concern and there is a bar/restaurant in the centre of the track to sit back and watch the racing karts.

The annual Kathu Village Festival held in July is a must see for those wishing to lap up the local Thai atmosphere. During the festival the colourful street stalls line the area and there are some fascinating exhibitions, stage shows and live music.

For nightlife just a short trip over the hill will take you to the dazzling town of Patong, with dozens of first class restaurants, hundreds of bars and nightclubs open till the early hours.

Kathu has plenty of 24-hour convenience stores at its doorstep and is only a 15 minute drive from one of Phuket’s largest shopping malls Central Festival.
